Author Lionel Rolfe


Lionel Rolfe, journalist and author of such works as Literary L.A and The Menuhins, A Family Odyssey is having a publication party for his recent book, The Misadventures of Ari Mendelsohn, A Mostly True Memoir of California Journalism.

You can join Author Lionel Rolfe at Starlight books 1818 N.Vermont ave in the city of Los Angeles ( silver lake/Hollywood-Los Feliz area) Saturday March 30th 2013 @ 5 pm for a meet, greet and listen in as Mr.Rolfe reads excerpts from his memoir.

Also at Starlight that day Julia Stein will read from her latest poetry including, What Where They Like?

About the Author in brief:

Lionel Menuhin Rolfe grew up in Los Angeles surrounded by the famous musicians and writers in his mother, Yaltah’s circle. In 1961, at the age of nineteen, Rolfe left home to become a newspaper reporter traveling through the small towns of California. Having worked full-time since Mr.Rolfe has worked for some of the most prestigious newspapers (the Los Angeles Free Press, the Los Angeles Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle), ten-year editor of the B’nai B’rith Messenger (the second oldest newspaper in Los Angeles) and an editor for Psychology Today, as well as author of six books.
